Addison Gardens is a wholesale perennial plant nursery that sells containerized plants to
landscapers, and garden-centers throughout Vermont and eastern upstate New York. Our nursery is an intensive operation on approximately 5 acres.
We have a reputation among our customers as a company that offers high quality plants, excellent service and the support of a knowledgeable staff. One of our primary goals is to grow plants that will maintain that reputation. To achieve that we rely on a small team of people who share our ethics.
We are working in our small way to promote diversified family farming, through the demonstration of intensive production practices, and adoption of sustainable technologies. Because we are working with so many different plants, 1000+ varieties from many different environments around the planet, we are keenly aware of conservation of habitat and ecosystems. We are constantly evaluating our plants for their potential to become noxious weeds. And as plant collectors, we are interested in introducing new plants into the trade that will promote aesthetics and biological diversity.
